Good Cop -Bad Cop
By PaBurke
Summary/Prompt: Radek likes being the Good Cop
Spoilers: Season One
Radek sent the crying scientist away with a few murmurs in Czech and pats on the arm.  Yes, yes, the department head was an egotistical bastard.  Perhaps some time away?  He offered her a fix-it job on the North dock.  It would keep her far away McKay and his sharp tongue and was well within her capabilities.  Normally she would have turned the job down because it took precious time away from her research (a common complaint in the R&D department), but this time she eagerly accepted the assignment outside of the lab.  It would give her time to gather her dignity and re-assert her confidence in her abilities.
Mission accomplished.
McKay stuck his head into Radek's office not five minutes after Dr. Greither had exited.  "She take the dock repair job?"
"Good.  I sent you an e-mail of more repair jobs.  Dish them out to whoever comes crying to you next."
Radex rolled his eyes.  He knew how to do his job.

Nature Abhors a Vacuum

Summary: Some people don't want the Leverage Team to take a break.
Spoilers: Leverage Season 3 finale, Sherlock BBC Season 1 finale
The team was in London’s Heathrow Airport waiting for during layover.  They were celebrating the most daring and rewarding job in all of their lives.  They had changed the course of the entire country of San Lorenzo.  In doing so, they had changed the political landscape of the world.
Nate had slipped off for a quiet drink.  He had chosen a back table in the bar’s dark corner, but it wasn’t dark enough to hide from all of London’s security cameras.  A tall, thin man with an umbrella walked into the bar and then seated himself at Nate’s table.  “Mr. Ford,” he said quietly.
“Mr. Homes,” Nate answered.  “No.”
“You haven’t let me ask the question yet.”
“No.  You can take out the trash in your own neighborhood.”
“You took out Moreau,” Homes mentioned.
“Extenuating circumstances.  He caused some problems in Boston.”
“So I heard.  But I also hear other things.”
“No, Mycroft.”
“No.  I put them into too much danger as it is.  We’re not going to face another giant so soon after the last, especially one that shows a preference for snipers and explosives.  We’d be too cocky.  I’d be too cocky.”
Mycroft was silent.  “Jim Moriaty nearly killed Sherlock and his best friend.  He’s picking up Moreau’s business.  He’ll come for you.”
“You have the personnel, you have the connections and I know you have the brains.  Take him out.”
“Personnel, yes, but not a team like yours.”
“No, Mycroft.  Final answer.  Dirty your own hands.”

These are adorable! Rodney and Radek are evil geniuses! Of course they would find a way to turn Rodney's ability to reduce grown scientists into crying little girls into a win for Atlantis.

Also, the Nate/Mycroft snippet was fabulous! I really love how you captured each of their voices.

Thank you for writing and posting these.
