This was SO AWESOME! I love Dean in Atlantis fics- seriously, there should be so many more! I loved Dean and Rodney's relationship, the jumper singing motorhead, Dean as a shaman, the seal drawing classes, just all of it really!

It was a blast to read. Thank you so much for sharing!

I loved it!!! Have a weakness for smart!Dean stories but this... *bg*

Ronon and Dean would get along and poor Rodney... Dean driving him nuts is soooo in character.

And OMG ASH! In Altantis... and jealous city.

This put a big smile on my face...

ROCKING story. Commented on every chapter but had to post here also just so people know the fantastic that is this story.

Also I have already rec'd out this story, even before finishing it and will plan on making sure that everyone else in my f-list and spn readers know that this story is Grade A.

Thanks again for sharing, I know this will be a story I read more then once.

peace

the joA/spn story has a better chance for a long sequel (honestly the next story is practically written, we just have to finish it). Learning How to Fly has a chance to have quite a few snippets. But neither universe will die a quiet death.

This was FANTASTIC!! The first spn story I ever read was Savingfaith's 'What happens in Vegas' so I really, *truly* have a soft spot for SGA/Spn crossovers. So I was always gonna read 'Learning to fly' but I *adored* the story - which is always great :p. Dean was just perfect - smart, resourceful and yeah, still a bit of an arse at time. His Rodney baiting had me in stitches. And coz I have a love/hate thing going with John Winchester, Jack just made my heart squish with how protective of Dean he was! Also, loved how Sheppard was so paranoid about the whole 'Winchester situation' and oh! *Altantis* SQUEE yep, Dean really can charm anything female!

I hope you plan to expand this 'verse because, seriously, it's AWESOME. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much for the review and for saying exactly what you liked. I'm finally revisiting the story and seeing if there is anything that I'd like to expand.

Why doesn't this fic have, like, a kagillion commets? I'm sure i don't know, 'cause it certainly deserves mountains of praise. I think you have created a wonderful and rich AU - one that I hope you continue to explore in future stories.

I think you did very well at capturing the voices of the SGA characters, and I really liked your Dean and Sam, even though they were slightly more AU than the SAGA cast. I think you kept the core of their characters in tact while building an intriguing 'verse.

Many many thanks for the review. I was afraid that I put Dean too far out of character, but it was a fun ride.

I just want to say how much i utterly love this fic. I can read it again and again, i never tire of it.
I can't properly find the words to describe what i love about it, it is everything; smart Dean, the way he fits inn at atlantis without loosing his "otherness", the different pov that lets us se many different sides of Dean and Atlantis, the tone of the fic. I just love it all.
And i hope you one day write more from this verse.

An ardent admirer

Re: Thanks for the review
The icon is from the sail ship Christian Radich.
I lived a year on that ship.
It used to be a school ship, now it mostly does catering and shorter tourist trips.

A very impressive crossover. I haven't see SGA yet, so I have to do a little research about it. This fic was a little passive, but the plot was good, fun and interesting; I like how Dean interact with everybody in Atlantis and the friendships he had formed. And when I was beginning to complaint about Sam absence, you made him appear to save Dean ass.

This was very pleasant to read.

This story is wonderful! It is one of my favorites! No matter how many times I read it, I love it.

I liked the back story of Dean and his relationship with Jack. Also, liked reading about his friendships on Atlantis.

I enjoyed seeing him use his hunter skills on the wraith and was happy to see Sam make an appearance.

Thank you. Please keep writing :)
