Commentary: Starting a new year...

I just posted the last of the 2013 Christmas gifts and I have a couple questions:
1.) Is anyone else having ridiculous problems posting on the lj?  Linking, inserting user names, and highlighting for the lj cut, the works.  Even typing this is aggravating, since it can't keep up with my typing speed.  I know it' not m computer because I switch to Word, type faster and have no problems.

2.) (somewhat related) How many on my f-list is on ao3? Since the stories are done, I could 'gift' them there.  Also post new stories there due to the aforementioned lj issues.

Nice to know it's not just me..... I'm not on AO3, but I can read there if a link is supplied.

Thank you for saying something! I felt so STUPID yesterday fighting with it.

And I'll keep linking, I guess.

Beyond me hardly ever posting, period, I very rarely post through lj directly. I usually use the posting client Semagic, which works well for my needs.

My alter-ego is on AO3, although I mostly use it for challenges and fests. I have, however, started reading there more often as ff.net no longer allows flagfic to convert their stories into e-book format. But I'll read a good story just about anywhere so long as there's a link.

I WILL be looking into semagic and I'll keep the lj alive if only for the links.

Thank you for the input.

I'm on ao3 same user name. I don't know about lj posting interface -- I'm usually commenting from iPad so I typically blame apple, and all my posts I cross post from dream width

I adjusted my postings on AO3 and I'll look into other interfaces. THanks for letting me know.

I'm on AO3 with one "l", that is, Jiltanith. There's also a story there that isn't on my ff.n account . . .

I'm also very annoyed at myself that I didn't make a Christmas prompt for you. (I missed my chance to ask again for a timestamp on Way of the Wolf 3!) (But if you fell like doing one anyway . . . *lure lure tempt tempt* ;) )

...I haven't closed the prompt post yet and am currently trolling through the comment-fic lj for things to feed the muse... so have at it.

And I will look you up on AO3.

well, that pushes the decision to post SULFUR on ao3 firmly onto the 'will do' list. I had been waffling. Thank you for the input.
